The start of Balkan Rivers Tour 2 is going to be big and full of action.
Following the Soča from souce high up in Julijan Alps we will paddle all the way in Adriatic Sea in Italy. With 138 kilometers of paddling and more than 900m of descent this will be real getting to know the river.

4 days, 138 kilometers in a boat, 990m of descent
DAY 1 – Thursday, March 30th / 25 km in a kayak
10:00 everyone meets at Koča pri izviru Soče (Trenta 72, 5232 Soča)
11:00 press conference at Triglav National Park Information center
13:00 start of paddling at the end of Soča gorge, Velika korita, confluence with Lepenca river
16:00 start of Soča trail walk, start of cycling trip
17:30 end of paddling at Čezsoča (Prijon sport center, Čezsoča 12b, 5230 Bovec)
18:00 we all meet at Prijon sport center, dinner for all paddlers, hikers, cyclists
20:00 round table at Stergulčeva hiša (Trg golobarskih žrtev 8, 5230 Bovec)
22:00 overnight in tents at Prijon sport center campsite
DAY 2 – Friday, March 31st / 35 km in a kayak
8:30 event for Soča and Učja with OŠ Bovec kids at Čezsoča bridge
09:30 start of paddling from Čezsoča bridge
12:30 start of Soča trail walk, Trnovo – Kobarid
12:30 stop at Trnovo bridge
14:00 lunch for for all paddlers, hikers, cyclists at Kamp Koren (Ladra 1b, 5222 Kobarid)
15:00 start of paddling from Kamp Koren
17:00 meeting with fishermen from fishing club Tolmin (at Tolmin bridge)
17:30 end of paddling at Labrca picnic place (Volče 87, 5220 Tolmin)
18:30 dinner for dinner for all paddlers, hikers, cyclists
20:00 start of evening event at Labrca (movie screening)
22:00 live concert and party at Labrca
24:00 overnight in tents at Labrca picnic place
DAY 3 – Saturday, April 1st / 30 km in a kayak
8:00 start of paddling from Labrca
10:00 kayakers meet downstream dam Podselo, group photo
13:00 stop at Kanal ob Soči (opportunity for lunch)
17:30 end of paddling at dam Solkan
18:30 dinner for paddlers and cyclists at Restaurant Žogica (Soška cesta 52, 5250 Solkan)
20:00 evening event at Restaurant Žogica
21:00 live concert
24:00 overnight in tents at Restaurant Žogica
DAY 4 – Sunday, April 2nd / 45 km in a kayak
9:00 start of paddling from Restaurant Žogica, Solkan
9:30 meeting with slalom kayakers at kayak slalom course
10:00 start of paddling from kayak club
17-18 birdwatching trip at Soča/Isonzo delta (Località Cona, 34079 Staranzano GO, Italia)
16-18 kayakers reach the Adriatic sea at Isonzo delta
