Remember week 1 of BRT4 in Romania and how we were doing our best to help the local fight for the stunning Basca Mare River? The push to stop the controversial dam that would divert most of the flow through the mountain, just reached a milestone. Last Thursday the Declic crew won an appeal on the lawsuit for Basca Mare! The file will go back to the tribunal (where it was abusively closed by the judge who accepted the late submission exception), to be judged on substance. In the meantime, the works at the dam did not progress much, and in the spring the building permit will expire for good. […]
