Our documentary film One for the River: The Sava Story received the main award at the 17th Festival gorniškega filma in Ljubljana, Slovenia. Festival gorniškega filma is the biggest outdoor film festival in Slovenia and a member of International Alliance for Mountain Film.
The film was shown in Linhart Hall of Cankarjev Dom on Monday, February 13th and director Rožle Bregar and screenwriter Rok Rozman accepted the Grand Prix award today.
Big thanks to all who gave the film an opportunity at the festival and thanks to the jury for award. Our wish for Slovenians to get to know the Sava River is coming true in the nicest possible way, but only if the epilogue for the river will be this good in a couple of years, our goal will be achieved and properly celebrated.
