Respect and hats off to everyone involved in the great action to save the source of Una in Croatia! After weeks of direct and legal actions, The Nature Protection Inspectorate of the State Inspectorate initiated administrative proceedings against the investor of the hydroelectric plant on the Una River, prohibiting further construction work on the “Una-mlin” mini hydropower plant within the Natura 2000 network. This is an important stage win in a bigger race against the greed that powers the green transition, which sees hydropower dams as a golden egg. The Una River is under urgent threat! A local investor has started construction of a dam at the spring of Una in Croatia. This sets a dangerous precedent, underminig environmental laws and protection to safeguard our natural heritage. Mineva leto dni od vodne ujme, ki je prizadejala velikansko škodo na infrastrukturi in domovih ljudi. Po vsem tem času bi kljub težkim situacijam mnogih ljudi od odgovornih pričakovali, da objektivno uvidijo kje je tičal glavni problem.
